KLM Scholarship foundation
The KLM Scholarship Foundation (KLM) raises funds and distributes book scholarship awards. These scholarships are academic-based and target Virginia college students faced with financial obstacles.
Through this partnership with Impact Makers, resources for scholarships, mentorships, and internships were allocated to students in the Virginia colleges network that were pursuing STEM degrees. On top of the scholarship dollars provided, Impact Makers was able to give an additional donation of $6,600 bringing the total gift to $42,600.
CP Podium
CD Podium is designed to empower youth ages 10 – 19 in Greater Richmond & the Tri Cities as confident, capable writers and communicators with the skills necessary to succeed in school, career, and life.
Impact Makers has supported Podium in numerous ways. We’ve facilitated a half day workshop with their board members to develop their 3-year strategic plan; worked with the Executive Director to complete the final deliverable; cleaned up and reorganized their Teams library; conducted a review of the annual student journal prior to publication; and created a communications tracking dashboard for the Comms Director to track and report on Social Media posts.
Samartian house
Since 1984, Samaritan House has helped individuals and families free themselves from domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and homelessness in Hampton Roads.
Impact Makers has supported them by performing weekly bot runs that ensure that their clients are uploaded into the state systems. This effort has reduced their overall effort and time for this process by 50%. Impact Makers is continually enhancing this bot system to take over more of their operations, again, streamlining their processes and creating more time to dedicate elsewhere.
