2017 Seven Small Jewels

Impact Makers is honored to be one of Consulting’s 2017 Seven Small Jewels. The magazine announced its 2017 Seven Small Jewels on February 10. The annual list recognizes the fastest growing small businesses in consulting and highlights “the hidden gems of the profession.”

Consulting magazine is the flagship publication of the consulting profession featuring the latest information on consulting careers, thought leadership, and corporate strategies.

In 2016, Impact Makers was named to the ‘Seven to Watch’ List.

pgama-award2The Printing & Graphics Association MidAtlantic (PGAMA) awarded Impact Makers’ 2014 Impact Report first place in the “Catalogs – Company Capabilities” category for their 2016 Excellence in Print Winners. The piece was submitted by Worth Higgins, the printer of the report.

PGAMA is the leading trade organization representing the interests of over 1200 printing firms, industry suppliers and related professionals in the graphic communications industry across Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland and Southwestern Pennsylvania. RichmondBizSensemasthead_2012Generosity Inc. and Richmond BizSense named Impact Makers to their Top Corporate Donors list for the third consecutive year. For both 2015 and 2014 total local giving, Impact Makers was ranked 10th and ranked 8th for 2013 giving. more

2016TopWorkplacesFor the third year in a row, Impact Makers is a finalist in the Top Workplaces program conducted by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and Workplace Dynamics. They look at many factors including how engaged employees are, how employers encourage community involvement, and how businesses promote diversity. The winners will be announced in May. In 2014, Impact Makers ranked 8th on the list for small companies, with 150 or fewer employees, and received a special award for Meaningfulness. Impact Makers was also a finalist in 2015, making the lists again. See our Top Workplace listing.

BPTWlogo2016Impact Makers was recently named as one of the 2016 Best Places to Work in Virginia. The annual list of the Best Places to Work in Virginia was created by Virginia Business and Best Companies Group.

2015 Winner Hi ResImpact Makers is honored to share that our website project with MedStar Health won the silver 2015 eHealthcare Leadership Award in the “Best Healthcare Content” category. The 16th Annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards were presented by Health Care Communications on November 11, 2015 in Orlando.

MedStar Health is a large healthcare provider in the Baltimore/Washington metro area with 10 hospitals, 250 outpatient centers, 6,000 physicians and 30,000 associates caring for millions of patients every year. Impact Makers’ project with MedStar Health included a new digital presence, an overhaul of the existing website by modernizing the look and feel, converting to a user-friendly CMS, responsive design and an advanced content and provider search capability. The Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce named Impact Makers a Finalist for their 2015 IMPACT Awards, one of three in the large company category. The IMPACT Award is the Chamber’s premier award and honors the ways in which businesses are making an impact on the Richmond Region economy, community and their employees.

The annual awards ceremony on November 4, 2015 featured videos of each finalist, including Impact Makers.

Impact Makers is honored to be selected as the inaugural Small Business Philanthropist of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Central Virginia Chapter. The nomination came from Impact Makers’ community charity partners: Family Lifeline, Peter Paul Development Center, FLiPM (Future Leaders in Project Management) and Rx Partnership.
