The beginning of the New Year brings to mind all that has been accomplished by Impact Makers and all that has yet to be done.  I am contacting you to share information about the community contributions and goals of Impact Makers, a unique firm of which I am privileged to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors. more

Governing, a leading online and print publication for state and local governments, featured an article on the use of Kanban by two of Impact Makers’ clients: the Virginia Department of Corrections (DOC) and the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).  The columnist interviewed the IT directors for each agency, Rick Davis with DOC and Dave Burhop with DMV, to learn how project work flow and visibility had improved via Kanban. Impact Makers worked with both agencies to kick-off the use of Kanban and facilitate training for employees. more

Impact Makers is pleased to announce that Katherina French has joined Impact Makers as a Business Analyst.  Ms. French is an experienced business and training analyst. She has developed business strategies, facilitated meetings, and created documentation and reports. Kat is an excellent communicator and team leader. more

Impact Makers’ VP of Business Strategy Rodney Willett and Amy Yarcich, Executive Director of our community charitable partner Rx Partnership spoke at the 43rd annual meeting of the Southeastern Council of Foundations (SECF). The event was held November 7-9, 2012 in Charleston, South Carolina. more

Bobby joined The Community Foundation staff in 1999, after having been a board member from 1981 to 1991. As Senior Vice President of Philanthropic Services & Donor Engagement, he has responsibilities in donor services, outreach and affiliate operations. more

Impact Makers is pleased to announce that Manisha Joshi has joined Impact Makers as a Process Consultant.  Ms. Joshi is an experienced Project Manager and Consultant, having led and facilitated meetings for multiple Federal agency and Fortune 500 corporate projects. She is skilled at designing workflows, optimizing processes, tracking financials, analyzing data, identifying requirements, design, testing, user acceptance, and end-user training. more

Impact Makers is pleased to announce that Dean Jadlowski has joined Impact Makers as a Senior Consultant.  Mr. Jadlowski is a Senior Project Manager with a wide variety of experience, from banking to public education. He has evaluated business processes for workflow automation, developed multi-year strategies for organizations, created project management offices, led large complex projects, and directed project managers and business analysts. His wealth of experiences enable him to recognize, evaluate, and meet multiple business challenges. more
